Project protection and promotion of the barbastelle bat
We document the joint project and accompany the actors who research, protect and promote the barbastelle bat nationwide. As one of its main European distribution areas, Germany bears a special responsibility for the preservation of the rare forest bat. We show the western barbastelle and its way of life in old and near-natural forests.

German wilderness:
Where nature can still be nature
In behalf of the Frankfurt Zoological Society (FZS), we create film clips on wilderness in Germany. Germany is a country of forests. Our international responsibility is to protect our last large areas of unbroken forest and to readmit the development of primeval forests, by creating new national parks or converting former military training areas into wilderness areas.
Dokumentary
We show the unique and threatened habitats, plant- and animal species
and we portray the incredible work done by the FFH-team of the nature
conservation authorities in the region.
On behalf of the Freiburg Regional Administrative Council, in 2020 our documentary about the Natura2000 protected area Kandelwald Roßkopf Zartener Becken in southwestern Germany has been published.

Hotspots of biodiversity
The diversity of life is most concentrated in the places where different ecosystems and environmental conditions come together, where ecosystems have evolved over millions of years and where human impact has remained low. From the Caucasus to Madagascar, from Uganda to Ecuador: We specifically travel to remote places to document the diversity of life on our planet and to promote conservation.

Small, but smart: Life of bats
Bats are highly social animals, and their young need several months to become independent. Their mother teaches them how to hunt and which roosts they can use to hide during the day, where they can find conspecifics and how to survive the cold winter months.
However, there is still quite a lack of research on the complex and fascinating world of bats. With our unique material we offer insights into the life of this species group that is so ubiquitous throughout Europe and that we still know so little about.
